Introduction
The feed dogs are essential components of all sewing machines. As the machine operates, they oscillate in sync with the needle’s motion to move the fabric by a consistent distance with each stitch. If there is a buildup of lint, thread, and dust around the feed dogs, they may get stuck, rendering the machine unusable.
Like most sewing machines, the Brother BM3700 is susceptible to issues arising with the feed dogs due to the large amount of mechanical action that these components undergo. This guide will provide steps to resolve the issue of a stuck feed dog in a Brother BM3700 machine by clearing any debris around the feed dogs.
Before using this guide, ensure that the issue with the feed dogs is not due to problems with the electrical components of the sewing machine.
