Introduction

This is a very simple process for repairing a melted or broken EOS lip balm that will require no more than five minutes of work, with another 10 minutes of allowing the finished product to cool.

  1. To begin, open the lip-balm and use the knife to separate the center piece which holds the lip-balm in place from the bottom portion of the container. Knives are sharp, and you need to apply some force to split the container from the grate. It is easier to wedge the knife by the little, square notch that would usually lock the EOS.

  2. Once they’ve been separated, remove the lip-balm from the center grate and place all pieces into the small microwavable bowl. Once they’ve been separated, remove the lip-balm from the center grate and place all pieces into the small microwavable bowl.

Great idea! I use these spheres religiously, and hate when they become flat and malformed. Thanks!

WORKS GREAT! They don't sell these by me and I had picked up one in NYC last time I was there and fell in love with them. So, I ordered a 5 pack from Amazon and 3 of them came melted into the cap. I did exactly as the instructions said, and PERFECT! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I wonder that too, have you tried it with the crystal one?

This is good. Now I can make those DIY things I see on YouTube. It helps me with clean and pop our the grate with ease.

I followed the instructions to the letter, heating in 10-15 second increments until the wax was melted. This did not work for me, all the wax stuck to the tiny microwave safe bowl i used and the stir sick. my eos is ruined. To be fair it already was gritty/ruined but now it's totally unusable. I would not try this again.
