  1. How to Fix Error 20, Remove Debris: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Check to make sure there is nothing physically preventing the shutter from opening.

    • Do not touch the mirror. You will leave fingerprints.

  2. How to Fix Error 20, The Battery: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the battery and wait 30 seconds.

    • Put the battery back in.

  3. How to Fix Error 20, The Memory Card: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the memory card and wait 30 seconds.

    • Put the memory card back in.

  4. How to Fix Error 20, The Power: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Turn the power off and wait 30 seconds.

    • Turn the power back on.

  5. How to Fix Error 20, The Shutter: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • If a shutter can be found to be purchased individually, replace the Shutter.

    • Be careful to not touch the mirror. You will leave fingerprints.

This is not a fix (except for possibly replacing the shutter) this will only get your camera to work temporarily.

Fingerprints on the mirror is nothing to stress about. The mirror is only there to send the image up towards the EVF.
