    • Find the small access door located at the bottom front of the machine.

    • Place a towel underneath the panel.

    • Slip the spudger into the panel and apply light pressure to pop open the panel.

    • Any thin, flat tool or object around the house will work, as long as you are careful!

    • Twist the filter knob counterclockwise to release it.

    • It's suggested to not open all the way, to allow the water to release slowly.

    • Allow water to drain fully into container or rags.

    • Once all the water has drained, pull the filter out completely.

    • Keep an eye out for foreign objects, like hairpins, buttons, or coins.

    • From there, clean the filter under warm running water.

    • Use an old toothbrush if needed to remove any stubborn build up.

    • Insert the cleaned filter back into the housing.

    • Twist clockwise until secured—do not overtighten.
