This guide shows you how to clean the filter of your Samsung Washing Machine (Model DC68-02807A-03) to ensure your washer lasts longer and works more effectively.
A washing machine filter traps all sorts of dust, lint, and loose hair from your clothes. However, over time as the filter accumulates all this unwanted stuff and is not cleaned out regularly, your machine will function less effectively and clothes won’t be washed properly. If your washing machine is not working and cleaning your clothes as well as it should, the most common reason is that your filter needs to be cleaned.
Before spending money on repairing your machine, check to see if your filter is free of debris. Often just regularly maintaining and cleaning out your filter ensures that your washing machine works as well as it should!
Note: Samsung recommends cleaning the filter once every two months.

Turn the washing machine off and locate the filter access door.

Pull out the drain hose and unplug the white cap to let the excess water flow out into the basin.

Once the water stops coming out from the drain hose, secure it back into position.

Push the filter in and twist it counterclockwise.

Remove the filter from the filter bay.

Remove any debris from the filter using a paper towel.

Rinse the filter under warm water.

Close the access door by pushing against the machine until you hear a click sound.

can you share where the filter is located on the
Samsung model DC68-03049A-01.
Hi! I apologize for the late reply, but I believe the filter for this model would be located inside the spin basket probably at the back. Here is the link to the model description and location of the filter https://www.manualslib.com/manual/147786.... Hope this helps!

I can not get the cap off the drain hose. Any suggestions. I have tried twisting and pulling and it just won't come off
