How to Clean a Robotic Vacuum Cleaner

What you need

    • Turn off the vacuum and remove it from the charging dock.

    • Open the dustbin compartment and remove the bin.

    • Dump all debris into the trash.

    • Remove the filter from the dustbin.

    • Rinse the dustbin if it's washable (check your model's manual)

    • Tap the filter gently to dislodge dust or use a nylon brush.

    • Replace the filter if it’s too dirty or damaged. Some filters are washable but still need replacement after a few washes.

    • Do not rinse the filter unless it's labeled washable.

    • Make sure that both filter and dustbin are completely dry before reinstalling to prevent mold.

    • Use a spudger to gently pry off the front caster wheel.

    • Pull out any hair or debris wrapped around the caster axle.

    • Spin them manually to check for smooth motion.

    • Avoid forcing parts—check your manual for disassembly.
