Introduction
Zips often become harder to open or close. Most of the time, lubricating the zip helps it run smoothly again. We’ll show you how you can lubricate a zip on a jacket, but it works just as well on other zips such as on a tent or backpack.

Open the zip if possible. Spray a small amount of silicone spray at both openings of the slider. Move the slider up and down several times to distribute the silicone.
