Has the string in your hoodie come out in the wash? Do you want to change the string in your hoodie to one of a different color? No matter what your reasoning may be for wanting to restring your hoodie, use this guide to learn how to put a string back in the hood of a sweatshirt.
What you need

Tape the end of the uncoiled coat hanger to one end of your sweatshirt string.

Curve the wire to the right so that the wire can follow the curve of the hood.

Continue feeding the wire through the hood towards the other opening of the hoodie.

Pull the wire and string out of the opening.

Remove the wire from the hoodie by pushing the left end of the wire through the hoodie, while pulling the right end out.

Tie each end of the string in a knot to prevent the string from coming out of the hoodie.
