How To Fix Torn Winter Earmuffs

Cut approximately 30 cm of thread with scissors.
The thread length will vary depending on the size of the area that needs to be sewn.

Insert the sewing thread through the eye of the needle.
Keep your fingers away from the sharp tip of the needle to avoid injury. If necessary, use a thimble to protect your finger.
If you have trouble getting the thread through the eye of the needle, you can lick the tip of the thread. This will tighten the thread fibers and allow easier insertion into the needle.

Pull the thread through the eye of the needle until equal amounts of thread are on each side.
