Introduction

If the case of the shear is cracked and you are concerned about debris getting into the device this guide is what you are looking for.

  • Locate and remove the six 1.5 cm screws marked on the picture from the shear with a Phillips head #2 screwdriver.

Image 1/2: If the plate with the screw sockets was replaced then the wires will need to be put back into the the depressions on the new plate for the device to be closed up properly. See photo with the blades on the right for proper wire placement.   • Pull face plate away from the body of the device. Replace similarly, but take caution of loose wires that might have been moved by the removal of the face plate.

  • If the plate with the screw sockets was replaced then the wires will need to be put back into the the depressions on the new plate for the device to be closed up properly. See photo with the blades on the right for proper wire placement.
