HiKOKI (Hitachi) H60ME Power cord Replacement

What you need

  1. HiKOKI (Hitachi) H60ME Power cord  Replacement, Turn the device on its side: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Before any repair work, make sure to disconnect the device from the power supply to avoid electric shocks!

    • Lay the device on its side so that you have access to the screws.

    • The device has the following types of screws:

    • 4x Phillips screws

    • 1x 4mm Hex

    • Loosen the hex screw with a 4mm hex key.

    • Unscrew the two Phillips screws from the strain relief.

    • Now remove the terminal block along with the power cord from the housing.

    • Loosen the two slotted screws on the side of the power cord.

    • Remove the old power cord.

    • Use a wire stripping tool to remove the jacket of the new cable.

    • Use the wire stripping tool or an automatic wire stripper to strip 6mm of insulation off of the new cable.

    • Insert the stripped ends of the new cable into the respective terminal of the block.

    • Tighten all four slotted screws on the terminal block.
