Hamilton-C3 Battery Replacement

What you need

  1. Hamilton-C3 Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Connect the ventilator to an external power source. There is a two-prong cable that can be connected to a port on the backside of the ventilator.

    • It is vital that external power is present so that ventilation may continue even without a working battery in place.

    • Open the battery door on the left side (facing the moniter) of the ventilator.

  3. Hamilton-C3 Battery Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Twist the metal locking clip (indicated by red arrow) counterclockwise out of the locking position.

    • Use any flathead screwdriver to accomplish this task.

    • During reassembly, turn the metal locking clip (in red) clockwise, back into the locked position, to keep the battery secure.

    • Push the latch (component in red) upwards.

    • While pushing up the retaining clip, remove the battery (follow the blue arrow, ignore the white arrow).

    • During reassembly, push the new battery in until the latch (circled in red) locks down.

  5. Hamilton-C3 Battery Replacement: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Turn the metal locking clip (in red) clockwise back into the locked position to keep the battery secure.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
