Hamilton G5 Safety Valve Block Replacement

Introduction

For more information on removing the safety valve block, please refer to section 10 in the service manual.

What you need

  1. Hamilton G5 Safety Valve Block Replacement, Rail: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove 4 Hex Allen screws (A) from the Rail surrounding the Ventilation Unit.

  2. Hamilton G5 Safety Valve Block Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the Rail (B).

  3. Hamilton G5 Safety Valve Block Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1

    • The Standoff Brackets (C) remain with the Main Cover.

    • Place aside in a safe location.

  5. Hamilton G5 Safety Valve Block Replacement, Main Cover: step 5, image 1 of 1

    • Lift the Main Cover (A) from the Ventilation Unit using the Standoff Brackets (B) attached to the Main Cover.

    • Place aside in a safe location.

  7. Hamilton G5 Safety Valve Block Replacement, Safety Valve Block: step 7, image 1 of 1

    • Remove Safety Valve Block

    • 1. Disconnect the cable from the Ambient Valve Solenoid

    • 2. Disconnect the Shaped Hose (A)

    • 3. Remove the 2 Hex Allen Screws (B)

    • 4. Remove the Safety Valve Block

    • To remove Ambient Valve Solenoid: Unscrew the Ambient Valve Solenoid (C) form the Safety Valve Block
