Haier Washing Machine Dispenser Drawer Cleaning

Video Guide
This guide was transcribed from a YouTube video.

What you need

    • Turn off the washing machine and unplug it from the wall before cleaning.

    • Let the washer cool if it recently ran a hot wash.

    • Wear dishwashing gloves if soap residue, mold, or cleaning products irritate your skin.

    • Don't use sharp metal tools or force plastic parts, as the drawer and blue release button can break.

    • Clean the ceiling, sides, and back of the cavity as far as the cloth can reach safely.

    • Remove any residue, washing powder residue, conditioner residue, and mold you can reach.

    • Keep excess water away from the control panel and don't spray water into the cavity.

    • Open the washer door and pull back the folds of the door seal.

    • Check the rubber for debris, dirt, and blockages.

    • Use a damp, soapy cloth to scrub the rubber thoroughly.

    • Use a soft brush to clean stubborn grime and dirt from the folds.

    • Use a dedicated brush that won't be used for teeth.

    • Don't poke the rubber with sharp tools, as punctures can cause leaks.
