I've got half way through and decided to put it back together still with the screen broken. This guide misses out important details on how to disconnect the surface mounted ribbon connectors and I don't want to risk irreparable damage to the device.

If someone want fix broken touchscreen, buy it together with LCD, because it is impossible to take off glass of the LCD. I just wasted my money, because I bought touch screen (digitizer) only and crashed my LCD into pieces.

Hi, i just replace screen on my htc desire but brightness not working at all. I tried again and clean whole think with alcohol... Does anybody have idea what happen?

HTC is a worst cell I am using Htc desire 500 i got software problem and i went to customer care the told sorry we can repair. like this Htc service will be wast of money and wast of time to take Htc cells.
