HP eStation Zeen Ground Wire Replacement

Introduction

If the troubleshooting procedures and all of the previous steps do not work it may be time to change the motherboard ground wire.

What you need

  1. HP eStation Zeen Ground Wire Replacement, Motherboard Ground Wire: step 1, image 1 of 3 HP eStation Zeen Ground Wire Replacement, Motherboard Ground Wire: step 1, image 2 of 3 HP eStation Zeen Ground Wire Replacement, Motherboard Ground Wire: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Remove the screw caps using a metal spudger.

    • Remove the four 6 mm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Insert a plastic opening tool into the case seam and slide it along the edges.

    • Lift and remove the back panel from the device.

    • Carefully disconnect the battery clip using small plastic spudger.

    • The clip is extremely fragile.

    • Use tweezers to disconnect the ground wire from motherboard terminal.

    • Use a soldering iron to remove the ground wire.

    • Avoid touching or heating the motherboard.
