Introduction

Replacing the keyboard requires you to remove many components. Be sure to keep track of all supplies!

1. Step 1 Keyboard
  Remove the battery from the laptop.

  Move the switch in the battery compartment.

4. Step 3
  Carefully flip up the keyboard panel.
  
  Don't pull far on the keyboard. It will still be connected to the laptop via ribbon cables.

5. Step 4
  Lift the retaining flap on the keyboard cable ZIF connector.
  
  Carefully pull the ribbon cable from its socket on the motherboard.
