1988-1994 Chevrolet Cavalier Ignition Switch (Lock Cylinder Seperate) Replacement

Introduction

Go to step 1 ↓

In this guide, you will learn how to fix the ignition switch of your Chevrolet Cavalier (1988-1994). You will need two tools in order to complete the replacement. The links for these can be found below under “Tools.” It is also necessary to purchase a new ignition switch which link can be found under “Parts.” This repair should fix any issues you may be having with an ignition switch (car not turning on, stuck keys, etc.). Please keep in mind that this repair can only be made on models that do not contain an airbag behind the steering wheel.

Hey, I have a 1991 Chevy Cavalier and sometimes the windshield wipers/radio/clock don't work. Does this sound familiar? Trying to understand what parts I may need to order to corect this.
