HP Pavilion zd8000 RAM Replacement

Introduction

Removing the RAM from this device is straightforward and requires little disassembly.

What you need

  1. HP Pavilion zd8000 RAM Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Slide the battery release latch towards you.

    • Pull up on the battery to remove it.

    • Loosen the Phillips screw labeled ‘ram’ and lift the cover.

    • Locate the green RAM card and find the metal tabs securing the card.

    • Push outwards on the two tabs to release the card.

    • Carefully slide the card out at an upward angle away from the slot.
