HP Pavilion x360 15t-br000 Speakers Replacement

Introduction

This guide will show you how to replace speakers in an HP Pavilion x360 15t-br000 laptop.

The main sign of faulty or broken speakers in need of replacement is the total loss of audio coming from the computer. If the speakers in your laptop have not lost all audio and are instead emitting a crackling sound, this might not call for full replacement. Remove the covers to access the screws attached to the back cover of the device.
Remove six 3mm screws using the Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Use a metal spudger to loosen the four corners of the keyboard panel. The corner is circled red as shown in the first image.
Disconnect the keyboard panel cables under the upper case.
Remove the keyboard panel from the device.

Disconnect the battery cable from the device.

Remove the seven Phillips #0 4.5 mm screws.
Remove the battery from the device.

Disconnect the white speaker cable connection from the motherboard.
Unscrew the four 3 mm screws mounting the speakers to the laptop using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
Remove the speakers from the laptop.
