HP Pavilion x360 15t-br000 Keyboard Replacement

Introduction

Use this guide to replace the keyboard in your HP Pavilion x360 15t-br000 laptop.

If your keyboard is damaged, you can not type text into the laptop.Thus, you can not operate normally on your laptop with a damaged keyboard.

Remember to shut down the laptop when doing the replacement.

What you need

    • Remove the covers to access the screws attached to the back cover of the device.

    • Remove six 3mm screws using the Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Use a metal spudger to loosen the four corners of the keyboard panel. The corner is circled red as shown in the first image.

    • Disconnect the keyboard panel cables under the upper case.

    • Remove the keyboard panel from the device.

    • Remove the two tapes of connected with the track board and the keyboard panel.

    • Remove the seven 2mm screws using the Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Remove the trackpad from the device.
