The battery gives the laptop power, and sometimes the battery may need to be replaced even when it is properly inserted.

    • Make sure the laptop is on it's back side.

    • Pull the switch on the middle upper portion of laptop towards the battery symbol.

    • Finally, firmly pull the battery away and outwards from the laptop.
