Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓Replacing the RAM module may help if your laptop has trouble with multitasking (Example: Crashes with a lot of windows open). This guide will also help you if you want to upgrade your memory by adding another memory module.
Before beginning this procedure, you will need to unplug everything that is plugged into the laptop, turn the laptop off, and remove the battery. Make sure your hands are clean and dry.

Slide the battery release latch to the left. The battery will pop up slightly.

Lift the battery upwards and out of the laptop.

Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the single Phillips 3.0 x 10.5 mm screw that fastens the service panel to the laptop.

Locate the RAM module.

To release the RAM module, spread the retaining tabs on each side of the RAM module away from each other.

Ask FixBot
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
