HP Envy x360 15m-cn0011dx RAM Replacement

Introduction

This guide will demonstrate how to replace the RAM in the HP Envy x360 15m-cn0011dx laptop. When replacing or reinserting the RAM, make sure to place it properly with the notch on the bottom of the RAM.

Make sure your device is fully powered off before attempting this guide.

What you need

  1. HP Envy x360 15m-cn0011dx RAM Replacement, Back Cover: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Flip the laptop over to the back side.

    • Remove the six 5.6 mm screws from the back cover using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Remove the single 4.3 mm screw in the bottom middle section of the back cover using a T5 Torx screwdriver.

    • Lift the back cover off the laptop.

    • Remove the metal plate that is covering the RAM.

    • Press the RAM placement tabs outward so the RAM stick pops upward.

    • Gently pull the RAM stick out of the RAM slot.
