HP ElitePad 900 Home Button Replacement

Introduction

Use this guide to replace the home button in your HP ElitePad 900.

What you need

  1. HP ElitePad 900 Home Button Replacement, Front Panel Assembly: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Unscrew the two 2.8mm Phillips #000 screws near the power connector.

    • Use a suction cup to pull the display assembly up.

    • Use the tip of a spudger to disconnect the two display ZIF connectors.

    • Remove the two 2.4mm Phillips #000 screws.

    • Lift metal bracket along with blue connector.

    • Replace connector.
