HP Compaq NC6120 RAM Replacement

Introduction

Replacing the RAM to an HP Compaq NC6120 is an effective way to maximize the computer's running speed. It's a simple replacement, as HP made the compartment easily accessible and user-friendly. What you need

  1. HP Compaq NC6120 RAM Replacement, RAM: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Locate the back plastic casing covering RAM chip.

    • Find the plastic casing, located in the middle of the underside of the laptop.

    • Remove the back plastic casing covering the RAM chip.

    • Unscrew and remove the M2 screw with a #1 Phillips Head Screwdriver.

    • Remove the plastic casing (should be free at this point).

    • Remove the RAM chip from underneath the casing. It should easily pop out.
