Introduction

This guide will teach how to remove the necessary components to gain access to and remove/replace the RAM module(s).

  1. It is recommended that the computer be powered off while working to avoid risk of electrocution.

    • Turn off the computer by pressing and hold the power button located above the keyboard.

  2. Locate two phillips head 3 mm length screws on the hatch.

    • Using the PH0 screwdriver, remove the screws.

  4. Lift up the hatch.
    • Lift up the hatch.

  5. Using the plastic opening tool, open the locks by inserting the tool on the side of the beige locks to release the RAM.

  6. Gently pull out the RAM.
    • Gently pull out the RAM.
