Introduction

If the fork arm in The Buttonholer is not moving properly while being operated, chance are you need to replace the spring holding the arm.

  • Unscrew the screw located underneath fork arm using a Flathead screwdriver.

Image 1/3: Turn the lower hook towards you from the bottom, and remove. Image 2/3: Turn the lower hook towards you from the bottom, and remove. Image 3/3: Turn the lower hook towards you from the bottom, and remove.
  • Raise the fork arm so that it is parallel with the upper hook.

  • Turn the lower hook towards you from the bottom, and remove.

Image 1/2: Add the new spring to the hook. Image 2/2: Add the new spring to the hook.
  • Remove the old spring from the hook.

  • Add the new spring to the hook.
