Greatcall Jitterbug Smart2 Battery Replacement

Introduction

Figured I'd make this real quick since I didn't see anything out there about it.

What you need

    • Pull the back cover away from the body of the device. It will clip in multiple locations around the edge of the device.

    Edit

    • Unscrew the screws from the back of the device. None are hidden.

    Edit

    • Remove the antenna clips located on the bottom and top of the device on the back.

    Edit

    • Pry the Mid-Frame away from the screen. It is clipped on around the edged.

    • Be careful near the buttons as the flex cable runs upwards.

    • Disconnect the battery press connector.

    Edit

    • Disconnect the Main FPC press connectors.

    Edit

    • Heat the device lightly.

    • Apply alcohol to the edges, around the battery.

    • Remove the battery from the device.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
