Introduction
This guide shows you how to replace the batteries in your Google Chromecast with Google TV remote control. The remote uses two AAA batteries.
What you need

Turn the remote over so the back is facing you. The battery cover is on the lower portion of the back of the remote.

Slide the battery cover downward (toward the bottom of the remote) to open it. It should slide off easily without tools.

Insert two new AAA batteries into the compartment. Make sure to match the positive (+) and negative (-) ends with the markings inside the battery compartment.

Align the battery cover with the back of the remote. Slide it upward until it clicks into place.

Your remote should now work with fresh batteries. If the remote doesn't respond, check that the batteries are inserted in the correct direction (+ and -). To close the battery cover, align it with the remote and press until it clicks into place.
