Be sure to unplug and power off the device before removing any components. Also, save any work before disassembly.

What you need

1. Step 1 Battery
  Push orange locking tab with spudger right, until battery lifts out of place.
  
  Laptop should be unplugged from power supply before removal.

1. Step 2 Rear Cover
  Unscrew the two 7 mm long #0 Phillips screws.

3. Step 3
  Lift and remove the cover panel via the indentation in the middle of the panel.

1. Step 4 RAM
  Push each of the two silver clips outward to release RAM board.

  Lift RAM board out of its compartment.
