If your vehicle charger is not charging your device, use this guide to easily replace a defective charger fuse on your Garmin NUVI 2589LMT device.

Using one of the plastic opening tools, press down the tip of the charger to insert the tool into the slot.

Turn the tool a ¼ rotation to remove the cover.
