Garmin Nuvi 255 Battery Replacement

Introduction

The process to replace the battery is nearly identical to the Nuvi 255W.

What you need

  1. Garmin Nuvi 255 Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Pull back the sticker on the bottom of the unit to expose the two screws.

    • Using a Torx T5 remove these two scres

    • Use the guitar pick pry tool to slowly release the snaps around the outside of the unit
