GameSir G7 SE Joystick Module Replacement

What you need

  1. GameSir G7 SE Joystick Module Replacement, Interior face plate: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the faceplate by prying upwards with a plastic opening tool.

    • This faceplate is magnetic and will be easy to come off.

    • Use a T6 Torx Screwdriver to remove the six 9 mm screws from the interior face plate.

    • Using a plastic spudger tool, remove the interior face plate. Go around all the edges, prying downwards until it's removed.

    • Make sure to hold the controller upside down; otherwise the buttons will fall out.

    • Remove the plastic joystick that is covering the joystick module by pulling up on from the gray grip.

    • To gain access to the joystick module, you will need to gently bend the metal retention clips that hold the module in place.

    • Use a plastic spudger to gently bend the retention clips back.

  6. GameSir G7 SE Joystick Module Replacement: step 6, image 1 of 1
    • Pull directly up on the joystick module to remove it from the motherboard.

    • Make sure to hold the joystick module from the red portion to prevent it from falling apart.

Conclusion

Controller joystick fell apart on me. I used the video explaining the TMR sticks from gamesir to reassemble. Found this to find out I could fix it. Thank you a ton I fix it.
