The fact that Samsung have been using the same audio amplifiers since the S10, blows my mind. So the big step up in speakers on the S23 series is purely down to the new AAC SLS speaker partnership and some dsp optimisation.

Correction: The S22 and prior use the CS35L40, while the S23 is using a seemingly customised part (CS35L42), there doesn't appear to be any kind of specs sheets available so I'm not sure if it's comparable to the CS35L45 in some of the other phones like the ROG, BlackShark, Xiaomi which have phenomenal sound systems.
