What you need

1. Step 1 Flash Spring
  Remove the 4 screws from the flash casing.

  Pry the edges off of the flash casing, and pull it off of the camera.

  Locate the spring on the left-hand side of the camera.
  
  Remove the spring by pulling it out of its placement.
