FoodSaver V4980 Bag Cutter Arm Replacement

Introduction

The bag cutter arm is plastic and therefore must be treated as such. It can break if attempted to move with too much force.

Pull on the left side of the handle to release the bar from the holder.
Not much force is required for the cutter arm to come loose. If it seems stuck squeeze the main arm sides together, as shown in the second photo

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
