What you need

    • Find the power cord.

    • Make sure that it is unplugged from the outlet. This is to make sure that no power is flowing through and you are not injured.

    • If the prongs are bent out of shape, take the pliers and slowly apply pressure so that the prongs bend back to their regular shape.

    • It doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to fit into the outlet.

    • Plug the power cord into the outlet and make sure that it's connected to the device.
