Escort Passport 9500IX Button Replacement

Introduction

Are the buttons on your Escort Radar 9500IX's cracked or jammed? If this is the case, then follow this guide to replace the buttons on your radar.

What you need

  1. Escort Passport 9500IX Button Replacement, Back Panel: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the three 1.2 mm Phillips #1 screws on the back of the device.

    • Pry off the back panel of the radar using the nylon spudger.

    • Carefully pry the grey frame off the black plastic covering using the nylon spudger.

    • Slowly peel the buttons off the button board.

Ummm where/how do you get the replacement buttons.  Mine are just simply non legible from wear and tear, yet still works perfectly.
