Escort Passport 9500IX Button Board Replacement

Introduction

Are the buttons on your radar not responsive? If so, the button board could be damaged. Follow this guide to replace your button board.

What you need

  1. Escort Passport 9500IX Button Board Replacement, Back Panel: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the three 1.2 mm Phillips #1 screws on the back of the device.

    • Pry off the back panel of the radar using the nylon spudger.

    • Carefully pry the grey frame off the black plastic covering using the nylon spudger.

    • Slowly peel the buttons off the button board.

    • Detach the orange flap on the motherboard.

    • Carefully remove the motherboard from the grey plastic frame.

    • Detach the orange flap directly behind the button board.

    • Carefully pull out the button board from the grey frame.
