What you need

    • Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord.

    • Allow the projector lamp to cool down for an hour or more to prevent injury.

    • Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to remove the 9 mm screw that secures the lamp cover.

    • If the lamp is broken, glass fragments may be found when removing the lamp cover. Be careful when removing the lamp cover and when removing the glass.

    • Slide the lamp cover off by sliding out, then up.

    • Loosen the 7mm dark gray screws keeping the lamp in place.

    • The screws do not need to be removed. Simply loosening the screws will allow the lamp to slide out.

    • Grip the lamp by its raised section, and carefully pull the lamp out of the projector to remove it.

    • The lamps contain mercury; consult state laws regarding disposal.
