Introduction

Use this guide to replace your Electric Bike Throttle.

What you need

Step 1 Brake

Before starting to disassemble your electric bike, turn the power off.
Remove the 3/32 inch Allen screw.
When removing Allen screw, make sure the driver is well seated because they are simple to strip.

Step 2 Throttle

Locate the throttle Allen screw.
Remove the 5/64 inch Allen screw.

Slide the Throttle off.
When removing the throttle, be careful. Remove it slowly to avoid damaging the wire.

Step 4 Control Box

Remove the following screws.
2 mm Philips screws.

Open up the control box.

Track the throttle wire.
To ensure you don't lose it, you should mark it.

Locate the throttle wire.
Disconnect the throttle wire plug from the controller wire plug.
Take caution while handling these wires. You can easily damage them.
