Ecovacs DEEBOT D35 Vacuum Motor Replacement

What you need

  1. Ecovacs DEEBOT D35 Vacuum Motor Replacement, Vacuum Motor: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Lay the Deebot face down so you have access to the battery compartment. Remove the battery.

  2. Ecovacs DEEBOT D35 Vacuum Motor Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Locate the 9 screws that secure the back cover. Remove with a PH2 Phillips Head Screwdriver. The screws are:

    • 7 x 14mm screws

    • 2 x 10mm screws

    • Use a spudger or plastic opening tool to separate the Deebot backside.

  4. Ecovacs DEEBOT D35 Vacuum Motor Replacement: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Carefully lift the back cover from the body of the Deebot to expose the internal wiring harnesses.

  5. Ecovacs DEEBOT D35 Vacuum Motor Replacement: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • There are 5 wiring harnesses that need to be disconnected before completely removing the back cover.

    • There are two blue wiring harnesses on the front left and right side (located next to the sensor). They are represented by the red circles.

    • There is a multicolor wiring harness on the front center. This is represented by the orange circle.

    • Two black and red wiring harnesses are connected to the motherboard. This is represented by the yellow circles.

    • Locate the 4 screws on the vacuum motor.

  7. Ecovacs DEEBOT D35 Vacuum Motor Replacement: step 7, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the screws from the vacuum motor body with a PH2 Phillips Head Screwdriver. The screws are:

    • 4 x 10mm screws

  8. Ecovacs DEEBOT D35 Vacuum Motor Replacement: step 8, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the vacuum motor body

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
