    • Basically there is a **TINY** screw just above the belt clip, which must come out (where that very small hole is at the top of the case, centre). I actually used a flat-head watch screwdriver tilted because I didn't have a phillips screwdriver which is what you should use.

  2. Eclipse T180 MP3 remove casing & Belt Clip 3 Steps, Sliding off Casing: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Once I had the screw out it is a simple matter of pushing down vertically on the top portion of the player where all the buttons are - the metal casing will slide down and off. I actually took the belt clip off before I realized it didn't have screws hidden beneath it and I probably could have slid the case off without removing the clip.

    • There is a 2.5 cm x 1mm pin that passes through the hinge & spring - use your screwdriver & push the pin out from right to left with clip facing towards you. Once the pin is extruding from the left, you can grab it (it is crimped so you cannot push it from the left side) with pliers and pull it all the way through, releasing the clip and spring.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
