    • Do not remove the hard drive while the computer is on or in sleep state. This might cause data loss.

    • Place the computer upside down on a clean, flat surface. Remove the bottom of the base assembly

    • Remove the bottom of the base assembly

    • Remove the four M3 x 3-mm screws (marked with an "H") that secure the hard drive

    • Slide the hard drive out of the computer.

  3. Dell Latitude E6500 Hard Drive Replacement, remove the M3 x 3mm screw from the bezel: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the M3 x 3mm screw from the bezel and take the bezel off the hard drive.

    • Attach the bezel to the hard drive using the M3 x 3mm screw.

    • Slide the hard drive into the bay until it is fully seated
