Pull out the power plug

Unscrew the two blue caps of the carbon brushes with a slotted screwdriver. Caution: they are under spring tension!

Remove the springs

Shake out the carbon brushes. If necessary, carefully pull out the round spring guides of the brushes with needle-nose pliers.

Insert carbon brushes with the springs. The alignment of the brushes must match the alignment of the axis! The brushes must be able to smoothly move along the guide.

While applying pressure to the springs, check whether the brushes are in contact with the rotor by slowly turning the shaft.

Screw the blue cover cap back on.
