Drawstring Bag Tab Replacement

What you need

    • Using your pen and ruler, draw two strips of 3.5" x 0.5" pieces of cloth.

    • Cut those two strips with your scissors.

    • Align your two strips back to back.

    • Use two sewing pins to hold the strips in place for easy alignment during the sewing process.

    • Carefully handle the pins to avoid accidental punctures or injury. Use a thimble if needed.

    • Using your thread and sewing needle, sew along the long edge in a straight line using a straight stitch.

    • Use a seam allowance of 1/8"

    • Repeat on the other side.

    • Carefully handle the needle to avoid accidental punctures or injury. Use a thimble if neede.

    • Fold your strip around the cord to your drawstring bag to create a loop.

    • Using the whipstitch technique, sew the two ends together.

    • Align the fabric with the seam line.
