Door Mirror Replacement

What you need

    1. Door Mirror Replacement, Door Mirror: step 1, image 1 of 1
      • Use a screwdriver to remove the two brackets securing the top of the mirror.

      • The mirror will fall forward once the two top brackets are released; be sure to support the mirror as you unscrew the brackets.

      • The type of screwdriver needed will depend on your specific brackets.

      • Lift the broken mirror off of the door.

      • Remove any cardboard or other cushioning (if any) from the door.

      • Loosen, but don't remove, the bottom brackets to accommodate the width of the new mirror.

      • If you have new mirror supports, then remove the old brackets entirely and replace them with the new brackets.

      • Replace any cushioning behind the mirror.

      • While supporting the top of the mirror, set the mirror into the bottom brackets, then tighten the brackets.

      • Replace the top brackets and tighten them to full secure the mirror.
