Use a fingernail (or small coin) to push down on the battery door release latch and remove the battery door.
Use a fingernail to pry each battery outward from the positive (+) terminal to remove them.
Gently separate the device's front outer casing from the back outer casing after you remove the screws.
Pull the front side of the outer plastic casing down to expose the ribbon cable connector. Be careful not to damage the ribbon.
