Disassembling Panasonic GU87 Keypad removal

What you need

  1. Disassembling Panasonic GU87 Keypad removal, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Place your hands on the phone as shown in picture. Slightly pull the tab away from the phone with your thumb.

    • Lift the battery up from the phone as shown. Replace with a new battery if the old battery has become worn out.

    • Remove the rubber covers with tweezers.

    • Remove all 4 screws from the back of the phone.

    • Use a plastic opening tool to separate the front and back casing.

    • Put the tool in friction tabs and force down to open the cover as shown in the picture.

    • Carefully pop it open the rest of the way with your fingers.

    • Pull the keypad apart
